SMS opt-in information, mobile phone numbers, and consent records are not sold, rented, shared, or used for third-party marketing or promotional purposes.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All categories of information are excluded from this sharing.

3. Types of SMS Messages
SMS messages sent through donated charitable notification services may include, but are not limited to:

However, these donated SMS services are intended for communication between organizers and participants, not for selling products, soliciting purchases, conducting advertising campaigns, or broadly promoting fundraising solicitations.
Messages should not be used for donation solicitations, fundraising campaigns, purchase requests, ticket sales, sponsorship solicitations, or similar promotional fundraising activity.
Compliant Solutions does not use SMS recipient information from donated charitable notification services for unrelated commercial marketing, lead generation, sales outreach, advertising, or third-party promotional activity.
5. Relationship With Participating Charitable Organizations
Compliant Solutions may provide donated SMS notification services to authorized local charitable organizations as a communications service provider.
The participating charitable organization may identify the intended recipients, provide or assist with opt-in collection, request appropriate informational messages, and help manage recipient list accuracy. Compliant Solutions operates the SMS notification service, maintains the messaging platform or related systems, and is responsible for processing SMS opt-out and help requests through the service.
The participating charitable organization is not permitted to use SMS recipient information for purposes outside the applicable donated notification service. SMS recipient information may be made available to the participating charitable organization only as needed to operate, support, audit, or manage the specific notification service for which the recipient opted in.
SMS opt-in information, mobile phone numbers, consent records, and message records are not provided to participating charitable organizations for unrelated marketing, unrelated fundraising, sales outreach, lead generation, political campaign messaging, or third-party promotional purposes.
6. Consent to Receive SMS Messages
Recipients receive SMS messages only after opting in or otherwise providing consent through an approved process. Opt-in methods may include, but are not limited to:
- Signing a physical paper opt-in form
- Requesting to be added by an authorized local organization representative
- Providing written consent through another approved process
The opt-in process identifies the organization or messaging program, describes the types of messages that may be sent, discloses expected message frequency, states that message and data rates may apply, and explains how to opt out or request help.
Only individuals who have opted in are added to the applicable SMS recipient list.

Message and data rates may apply. Recipients are responsible for any charges imposed by their mobile carrier.
12. Opt-Out Instructions
Recipients may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying:

Other opt-out words or requests may also be honored, including but not limited to:
- UNSUBSCRIBE
- CANCEL
- END
- QUIT
- REMOVE
- “Please stop”
- “Take me off the list”
- Similar language indicating the recipient no longer wants to receive messages
After opting out, the recipient will no longer receive SMS messages from the applicable notification service unless the recipient opts in again.
A final confirmation message may be sent to confirm that the opt-out request has been processed.

14. Data Retention

16. Children and Minors

Participating charitable organizations must not submit phone numbers for children under 13 unless a parent or legal guardian has provided appropriate verifiable consent and the messaging use is appropriate for the intended audience.
Where messages involve minors, youth programs, or youth-related activities, participating charitable organizations are responsible for ensuring that appropriate parental, guardian, or legally required consent has been obtained before submitting or using a minor’s phone number.
Where possible, messages involving youth or minors should be sent to parents, guardians, or responsible adults rather than directly to minors.
Compliant Solutions does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through donated SMS notification services without appropriate consent. If Compliant Solutions becomes aware that information from a child under 13 has been submitted without appropriate consent, Compliant Solutions may remove the information from the applicable service.
17. Charitable Organization Responsibility
Participating charitable organizations are responsible for ensuring that:
- Recipients have consented to receive messages
- Recipient lists are accurate
- Message content is appropriate for the stated purpose of the service
- Messages are limited to the authorized informational, administrative, coordination, or participation-related purpose
- Requests to remove recipients are communicated or processed promptly
- The service is not used for unauthorized commercial marketing, unrelated promotional messaging, political campaign messaging, or other activities outside the approved scope of the notification service
- Phone numbers for minors are not submitted unless appropriate consent and oversight are in place
Compliant Solutions may suspend or discontinue a donated SMS service if it is misused or if continued operation creates compliance, security, legal, carrier, messaging platform, or operational concerns.
18. Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in services, legal requirements, carrier requirements, messaging platform rules, or operational practices.
